Mývatn Nature Baths is the Blue Lagoon of North Iceland. Located in an active volcanism area near Lake Mývatn this Geothermal Spa opened its door in 2004. It is surrounded by a spectacular panorama of surreal lava, craters and sulphur-streaked mountains. I want to the Mývatn Nature Baths after spending the day exploring the Hverfjall crater as well as Krafla volcano and its surrounding geothermal activity. I took this photo when the night was falling then I laid down in the hot water relaxing and watching the starry sky and Northern Lights.
